What to do during an asthma attack?
During an asthma attack, it is important that you:

  • Stay calm and reassure your child.

  • Give the medication prescribed for relieving the symptoms. Do not use a larger dose than prescribed unless advised by the doctor.

  • Find out what triggered the attack and remove the trigger(s) or your child from the area.

  • Seek emergency medical help if the symptoms do not subside or worsen after 10 minutes.
