The HPB’s Spectaculars!
Dear Readers,
In this issue of Voices Reloaded, we would like to feature some spectacular achievements by HPBians, including sports award, international poster presentation award, organizing and implementing health events, helping out in medical mission and being awarded a scholarship to the John Hopkins School of Public Health. Although we are aware that HPBians have done very much more, this is just the little tip of the iceberg.
This issue is to remind ourselves that HPBians have big hearts and soul and are a dedicated and committed health-promoting kind of people! We work hard and we play hard. Well done, and as the leaves turn from green to brown in Autumn, we will give ourselves a pat on our backs and rejoice in our harvest.
Leave you with an ancient quote from Sheikh Muslih-uddinSaadiShirazi, The Gulistan of Saadi, 1270
“If of thy mortal goods thou art bereft,
And of thy meager store
Two loaves alone to thee are left,
Sell one, and with the dole
Buy hyacinths to feed thy soul.”
