JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge
3 May 2007 – The HPB running enthusiasts got really grumpy when the weather began to take a turn for the worse at 3pm. A heavy downpour ensued and we were worried whether the JP Morgan Chase Run will be cancelled. Fortunately, the weather cleared up and despite the wet conditions of the route, about 25 HPBians took part in the run which started at 6.00pm.
The turn out for the run was about 11000. What was beautiful about this run was that it was non-competitive and everyone took part to join in the carnival atmosphere and felt alive. Although the road condition was not ideal for the run, but I think everybody tried their best to complete the route.
Of course it was a good opportunity for HPB employees to bond. We all walked away with a healthy body and a happy mind, and of course a complementary JP-Morgan Chase T-shirt commemorating the event.
