Celebrate Christmas in Singapore

What: The theme this year is "Christmas, It's all about Love". Beginning 15th December, we will have nightly stage performances along Orchard Road by both local and foreign performing groups. There will also be an interactive Christmas Village near Plaza Singapura re-enacting the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. On Christmas Eve, a synchronised Mass Caroling will take place and on Christmas Day, a grand concert on Orchard Road.

Siloso Beach Party

What: The Biggest beach dance party hits town this New Year’s Eve! Get into the groove at Sentosa’s hippest hangout, Siloso Beach for Asia’s Grooviest celebration under the stars where party goers can dance from dusk till dawn with a fantastic line up of DJs, music videos with live DJ mix, pyrotechnics display and fringe entertainment that will definitely engage all your senses.

WEEKENDS

What: WEEKENDS is deemed as the largest ever locally held fair in a city campus, boasting at least 300 vendors featuring a comprehensive merchandise mix ranging from Fashion & Accessories, IT/electronics to Food. It aims to be the next shopping hot spot, injecting buzz to the shopping streets of Singapore for tourists and locals.

M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2008

What: The M1 Singapore Fringe Festival is an annual festival of theatre, performance arts, film, dance, visual arts, mixed media, music and forum created and presented by Singaporean and international artists. Themed differently each year, the Festival aims to bring the best of contemporary, cutting-edge and socially-engaged works to the Singapore audience

The Big Picture Show

What: Be awed by the breathtaking expanses of paintings and the wide possibilities these have to offer. This exhibition showcases large paintings from the Singapore Art Museum's collection representing many countries in Southeast Asia and Asia. Size certainly does make a difference!
