I'm Ben - Yours Truly!
Hi Everyone. My name's Ben and I'm seven years old. I'm a Jack Russel, but everyone in my household calls me Ben the Jack Rascal. I adore my Master, Erwin, very much because... he loves me yeah, yeah, yeah! You won't believe how athletic, handsome and intelligent I am, so much so that my master is sometimes jealous of me because his girl friends shower more attention on me than on him whenever they visit. When I was 1, my master had taught me how to sit, shake hands and speak. At age 2, I was able to play dead, play soccer with my master, roll over, and say grace before meals. By the time I was 3, heh...heh... I could sit on my buttocks, back straight, with my two front paws hanging in the air. I can perform so many tricks for treats, that it makes me wonder, if I weren't a dog, I'd probably be a clown.
Why are you disturbing my mid-day nap with your camera phone pointing towards me? “Grunt” I am Ah Huat, a 1 year old French Bull Dog. Ain’t I “macho”? I hardly see a “She” version of me around, which is why my muscular body never fails to turn heads wherever I go.
I snore very loudly when I sleep “Grunt”. My favourite activity would be begging relentlessly for food from my favourite aunts “drooling …..dinner-time, grunt & snort.”
Kiki my cat was a stray picked up from the precincts of Hougang HDB estate. He was found in a ditch thrown in mercilessly by someone. It was late at night and his cries had attracted a good Samaritan who saved him with the help of another passerby.
It happened I was at the scene and I thought what a pity to let the kitten be sent away to SPCA. I brought the kitten home, and after a few months I had him sterilised and treat him as my own pet.
Snowy turned 2 years old on 2 Nov 07. She was adopted from a friend whose cat had a litter of five. She was 6 weeks when she came and was quickly taken under Ally’s fold. She is very shy and thus very close to the Matriarch of the household cat of 5 cats – Ally. Initially, she was quite white but now she is becoming browner on the face, legs and parts of the trunk. She is now looking like a Siamese cat with her blue eyes.
My pet tortoise is called Wilber.
He is very old. I got him when I was a teenager; I think he may be above 15 years old.
He is big, but slow and he can burp very loud like us.
