What: A worldwide event established in 1977 and now held in 16 locations across the US, Germany, South Afica, Australia and Singapore.
It attracts over 220,000 participants from 6,500 leading business and government institutions from around the globe.
The Corporate Challenge brings companies and colleagues together in a fun setting promoting teamwork and camaraderie. Its not just a race - a corporate social event that incorporates a 5.6km run.

Formula Drift Singapore 2008
What: Singapore's largest professional drifting competition featuring Top American Drivers battling it out with drivers from Singapore and Malaysia. This is the first time the event is held outside of the US and Singapore is the only stop in Southeast Asia.

The Ultimate DragonTug
What: The Ultimate DragonTug is a sports event where two teams compete, head to head, in 12-crew boats. Both boats are restrained by a cable which is tied to each other. The ultimate tug of war begins when both boats are within approximately 3-4 meters of the Victory Flag. The winner tugs ahead and claims the Victory Flag.

Vietnam Festival 2008

What:In celebration of 35 years of diplomatic ties between Singapore and Vietnam, the Singapore Art Museum will be organising an exhibition on Vietnamese modern and contemporary art. The exhibition aims to raise the level of awareness and appreciation of Vietnamese art among visitors by providing insights into artistic developments that have taken place over the last three decades. Comprising an exhibition and an international symposium, the event will be further supported by public programmes such as art talks and lectures, workshops and guided tours.

Adidas Sundown Marathon
What: The inaugural night marathon in Singapore will attract 6,000 competitors, of which 175 runners will participate in the 84km Ultra Marathon. This route uses the island-wide network of linear open spaces that link up major parks, nature sites and housing estates in the east part of Singapore, bringing runners through interesting sights, including lush greenery from Changi Point to Bedok Reservoir, East Coast Park and finishes at Changi Point.
