The annual Eye Care Week organised by the NMPP will be held in schools throughout Singapore during the last week of March. Schools are encouraged to conduct eye care related activities to highlight the importance of eye care. Schools will receive the Eye Care Week Activity Guide from HPB in February of each year with resources and suggestions to complement their efforts in educating students and parents about eye care.
Eye Care Week 2008 will be held from 24 Mar to 28 Mar 08. The highlights of this year’s activities include:
- A 5-day event for pre-schools at the Healthzone that consists of various interactive activities on how they can take care of their eyes.

- “Roving Eye" competition for upper primary school students to become reporters for the day. They will report on interesting activities taking place in their school during Eye Care Week 2008. For more details of the competition please refer to the Eye Care Week Activity Guide for primary schools.
