Work with our Health Ambassadors
Our Health Ambassadors
comprise members of the public who live healthy lifestyles and hope to inspire others to do the same. They are volunteers who are passionate about health, and who partner with us to grow a social movement for healthy living within Singapore. Apart from being involved in the programmes we organise, our Health Ambassadors work with various external partners to bring the message of healthy living to a wider audience.
Take a look at some of the roles our Health Ambassadors have played.
Together with NTUC FairPrice and Foodfare, our Health Ambassadors engaged shoppers to choose healthier dining options and select products with the Healthier Choice Symbol. Over just three months, they reached out to more than 75,000 customers.
Regional Health Systems and Voluntary Welfare Organisations
Our Health Ambassadors have also worked with the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, where they helped encouraged patients to go for health screening. We also sent some Health Ambassadors to help out at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital’s health screening events.
Some of our Health Ambassadors have also been trained to conduct talks on topics such as Diabetes prevention, and they have been well-received by our community partners including Senior Activity Centres and the National Library Board. They also conduct exercise sessions suitable for the elderly, and some of them even start regular interest groups thereafter.
We also co-shared volunteers with organisations including the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association, Eastern Health Alliance and the National Healthcare Group, and recruited several of our Health Ambassadors for them.
