Health Promotion Board and DDB Worldwide make a Healthy Sweep at the Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards 2010
The Health Promotion Board (HPB) Singapore, together with its marketing agency, DDB Group Singapore, was named Advertiser of the Year (Company Award Category) at the Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards 2010, hosted by the Institute of Advertising Singapore (IAS). The results were announced on 16 November 2010 at the advertising industry’s gala event.
This award recognises HPB for its approach towards excellence, outstanding achievements and breakthrough ideas in creative communications. Mr Vernon Vasu, Director, Corporate Marketing & Communications, HPB, expressed, “HPB is pleased and honoured to have won this award for the first time. Our partnership with DDB Group Singapore has helped fuel our drive to have creative and impactful communication approaches to promote the message of healthy living. The appropriate media communication messages and approach are imperative in our mission to help Singaporeans attain optimal health through our health promotion and disease prevention programmes.”

The Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards, is an annual prestigious award ceremony which recognises the excellence and outstanding achievements of the Singapore advertising industry. Across 15 categories, the Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards this year attracted a total of 85 entries, all against a backdrop of challenged advertising budgets and economic pressures.
