Sample Healthy Workplace Catering Policy

The Singapore government has introduced a Whole-of-government (WOG) Healthier Catering policy which came into effect on 1st April 2017, to encourage healthier eating as a norm:

  1. Outside the home
  2. In our community
  3. Workplaces.

The WOG Catering policy serves as a guideline for public sector agencies to provide employees and members of the public with healthy food and drink choices when catering meals for government-organised functions.

Private companies are encouraged to refer to the WOG Catering policy for guidelines on designing their Workplace Catering policy.
